Do you allow Dual Enrollment or Online Courses?
Yes GA High School offers Dual Enrollment and online Classes. Here is the policy for these two programs:Dual Enrollment: :
Dual enrollment is a program which allows the students to take a class at local colleges or universities and receive credit from the college as well as from Genesee Academy. Students are eligible to dual enroll in classes if their GPA is 3.0 or above and after they get the approval from the counselor/principal. The classes that are eligible for dual enrollment should meet one of the following two guidelines:
1) The College class is one that is not offered at Genesee Academy.
2) The student must have exhausted a program of study by successfully completing the highest level offered at Genesee Academy in that discipline.
The final approval from the principal is required for any dual enrollment classes

If I start with IB path, can I later change my mind?
Yes, you can. Our coursework is designed in a way that allows the student to opt out of IB diploma exam and still graduate with traditional Hs diploma without losing and credits
How many College credits do I get in University for IB courses taken at GA
Every University has its own criteria for giving credits for IB courses taken in High School. Most of the universities will accept exam grade of 4 and above for High Level IB courses. Please visit the admission page of University to see their specific policy. As a sample here is introduction found at U of M Ann Arbor web site: "To receive credit for International Baccalaureate (IB) examinations, an official transcript of examination grades must be officially sent by the IB Office (Maryland, Geneva, or London) directly to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. The Office of Undergraduate Admissions only awards credit for IB Higher Level examinations. The University does not give credit for standard/subsidiary-level examinations. For HL Biology with Score of 4 you get 4 College credits of Bio 100; For HL Biology with score of 5 you get 5 college credits for Bio 195. etc..."
IS GA High School diploma accepted by major universities?
Yes, GA HS is both IB Certified and AdvenceED/NCA accredited school. Alhamdullilah our graduates so far have been accepted in all the schools that they have applied for including U of M - Ann Arbor, U of M - Flint, Kettering University and MSU
